Regional Sales Leader - Central
POSITION SUMMARY:
Tennessee, North Carolina, Georgia & Louisiana
The Regional Sales Leader: Central Territory- This position reports to the National Sales Director. The Regional Sales Leader (RSL) is responsible for meeting and/or exceeding the region's sales objectives. The RSL also manages the activity and performance of a team of sales representatives through coaching, training, and leadership activities.
CORE RESPONSABILITIES:
- Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and execute territory plans that correctly identify and prioritize activities to accomplish short- and long-term business plan goals.
- Key attributes necessary for success will be the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing, results-oriented team, possess a strategic perspective on managing business opportunities, and, as needed, execute efficient performance management practice.
- The RSL understands and applies knowledge of the healthcare industry, trends, applicable laws and regulations, market conditions, and the managed healthcare environment into business plans and in the daily execution of sales calls within compliance guidelines.
- Foster team effectiveness and accomplishment of shared goals by sharing knowledge, experience, and information.
- Drives market share growth and maximizes sales performance within the indicated use for the region.
- This position is responsible for implementing promotional and marketing programs, managing activities to targeted prescribers within their Region, and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS/BA required.
- 3+ years of sales management experience required with a successful track record; pharmaceutical sales preferred.
- Success in pharmaceutical leadership with a proven track record of delivering exceptional sales results.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills are required.
- Demonstrate ability to work cross-functionally
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Travel 50-80%
