Intern / Becario/a Clinical Development Scientist

Mission

This position at Almirall will allow you to learn how the clinical development of new drug candidates is being done, and how know how clinical trials are designed. You will learn what procedures are performed internally and via partners, and what role regulatory authorities have.

If applicable, this will give you a strong foundation for your Master Thesis.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Provide scientific input to the clinical studies teams, in consultation with Clinical Development Scientists (CDS) and/or the Global Clinical Program Lead (GCPL).
• Literature review of clinical and non-clinical publications and data, creating and presenting summaries
• Participate in all activities as CDS in consultation/under supervision of CDS and/or GCPL.
• Core member of the Clinical Study Team

Education

• Degree in Biology, Molecular Medicine, Pharmacy, or a related field
• Advanced Degree (PhD or master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Medicine) valuable

Specific Knowledge

• Fluency in English (written and spoken), Proficiency with MS Office applications

Experience

• Teamwork experience either during the studies, during any extra scholar curriculum experience or work experience
