Misión

The marketing manager defines and implements the marketing strategy and handles the marketing team for new product launch, planning, budgeting, training for the Healthcare Prescription line. The marketing manager will be responsible for ensuring that market initiatives are aligned with the Healthcare BU strategy, maximizing the current business, and looking for new business opportunities.

This role of marketing manager requires full oversight of the marketing strategy, training to product management team and execution for the portfolio. Marketing manager set marketing priorities and strategic promotional direction for selective brands. Marketing managers build cohesion with the internal and external stakeholders

This position reports directly into the HC Marketing Direction of the Spanish market company.

Funciones y responsabilidades

  • Lead and coach the team under his/her responsibility, ensuring developing team members
  • Develop and drive ideation, implementation and execution of effective long and short-term marketing strategies to establish and ensure continuous and sustained competitive advantage and success of assigned products portfolio. Includes developing clear, well-communicated vision and strategies for assigned products that can be translated to effective marketing and sales plan, achieving sales, profitability and market share targets
  • Drive the Healthcare Prescription business to a next level, identifying market and business trends, ensuring fit within the strategic pillars defined in the BU, and implementing the cross functional aspects that will maintain our competitiveness in the market.
  • Ensure continuous collaboration with all functions and divisions namely sales, medical, training and market access teams; to ensure effective conceptualization and implementation of the brand plans.
  • Develop omnichannel plans to improve the Customer impact and experience by delivering an even more targeted and personalized Customer journey
  • Optimize allocation of all resources to brands through active assessment of return of investment.
  • Ensure that development and design of innovative promotional campaigns and business activities comply with relevant, acts, legal demands, and ethical standards.
  • Establish a KOL network among the GPs and specialties under his/her responsibility
  • Ensure a strong customer focus with an upskilled Busines Intelligence strategy, evaluating effectiveness of marketing strategies, campaigns and medical experts’ development through regular field visits, customers engagements and competitive intelligence analysis.
  • Drive an innovation mindset within the BU, participating in the assessment of new projects and products together with the LCM&Innovation manager
  • Provide reliable sales, costs and demand forecasts and ensure supply of all products.
  • Ensure the knowledge of the commercial contractual conditions of the licensed products under the scope of responsibility, as well as liaise with our partners to foster collaboration
  • Foster collaboration and synergies with the OTC business, through the Pharmacy line

Formación

  • Bachelor's or master’s business/science degree.
  • Professional level in Spanish and English, both in oral and in written communications.

Conocimientos específicos

  • Experience working in a matrix and managing diverse stakeholders, including external stakeholders.
  • Possesses good analytical skills and a strategic mindset.
  • High business acumen. Business orientated mindset and operational leadership skills to drive a team and support leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • A clear and confident communicator, comfortable dealing with and influencing colleagues and senior stakeholders.
  • Self-driven with proven project management skills to execute multiple projects with precision and accuracy in a very fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to generate high quality market analysis and define strategic plans, with a forward looking perspective

 

Experiencia

  • Minimum 5-6 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing
  • In depth understanding of the Spanish market, Pharma market trends and competitive landscape
