Mission

Reporting in the Global Legal and Compliance function, the Legal Manager is a business partner to the internal clients. He/she works collaborative with peers and other stakeholders in the organization and is accountable for advising on strategic and relevant, routine commercial transactions in Spain and across geographies. His/her tasks including drafting, reviewing and negotiating  contracts and providing legal support on matters involving marketing, compliance, regulatory, procurement and quality topics, to mention a few.

Tasks and Responsibilities

•    Provides legal advice and recommendations; supports the company´s strategic priorities and serve as partner to other functions such as regulatory, finance, R&D, commercial, and procurement.
•    Knowledge and hands-on experience in areas such as antitrust, IP, data privacy, licensing, commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions would be an asset. 
•    Supports affiliates in other countries  on legal matters.
•    Collaborates with colleagues on projects for standardization and efficiency.

Education

•    Bachelors in Law or equivalent degree in Law.
•    Post-graduate studies (MBA, LLM) is a plus.
 

Specific Knowledge

•    In-house or law-firm total minimum experience of ten (10) years. Such minimum experience is required to advise on operational / business units in local and international settings
•    Experience in pharmaceutical sector 
•    Additional experience in Data Privacy is desirable 
•    International experience, particularly in the US, is preferrable 

Experience

•    Good document drafting and proofreading skills
•    Strong negotiation skills
•    Good communication; 
•    Fluency in English (oral and written) is required
