Mission

Almirall is looking for a Senior Specialist in Digital Assets responsible for the related technology at Global, Regional levels, reporting to the Commercial IT Delivery Area Associate Director, the role is accountable for:
•    Holds the responsibility of System Owner of the IT systems assigned to him/her.
•    Analyses the organization and designs the technical systems and processes. Supports the business management to design business models and strategic business needs. 
•    Maximizes the value the IT solutions provide to the business, defining best practices and ensuring they are correctly adopted.
•    Responsible to define the way the IT systems will support the Business processes defined by the BPOs, either within projects or enhancements. 
•    Ensure applications work efficiency and meet the performance expectations.
 

Tasks and Responsibilities


Operational: 
•    IT service delivery responsible for Digital Assets including Webs, Apps and systems covering the entire DevOps cycle including monitoring, testing and development management.
•    Identify areas of improvement and increase efficiency of implemented processes.
•    Translate business requirements to technical/functional requirement and organize them into related categories.
•    Coordinate and work with development teams to ensure proper understanding and programming of the business requirements.
•    Project Management and Agile Mindset.
Communication: 
•    Provide the development team the technical requirements in line with business objectives.
•    Lead design and implementation of the business process under the area of responsibility, adding value and ensuring proper integration. 
•    Coordination of activities with suppliers in collaboration with the area of responsibility
Business: 
•    Works with Business Process Owners and key users to create and maintain an operating plan to achieve the strategic vision and operating platform that defines the people, processes, tools, and technology.
•    Change Management with Business counterparts to ensure proper adoption of new processes.

Requirements

•    Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or closely related discipline.
•    5+ years of experience in managing projects with high impact across the 6 change dimensions (process, organization, location, data, application, technology), IT application development, and process design, and exposure to Commercial business area 
•    Demonstrated experience in leading websites and apps implementations in international environments.
•   Ideally 3+ years of experience in cross-functional teams influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders effectively across the organization and within complex contexts. 
•   Experience in the pharmaceutical industry will be a plus.

•   Proved experience in websites and apps ecosystems, certifications in trending technologies will be a plus.
•   Proved leading experience and content management tools experience, certification will be a plus.
•   Deep Understanding of Commercial Processes
•   Experience using Jira Software for demand and project management.
•   Experience working with Agile methodologies. Agile & Scrum certifications will be a plus.
•   Excellent English and Spanish skills is a must
•   Technical & Functional full stack skills in web and app development and monitoring:

  • Knowledge in static webpages: HTML, CSS and JS frameworks.
  • Hybrid and native apps and pwa’s knowledge.
  • CMS knowledge, preferable Workdpress.
  • No-code frameworks.
  • Monitoring and automatic testing frameworks knowledge.
