Global Medical Manager - 1 year Temporary

Reporting into the Global Medical Immunology Director, the Global Medical NMSC/AK Manager is accountable for providing medical and scientific strategic leadership about the assigned product (Tirbanibulin), as well as the rest of the NMSC/AK portfolio, making sure that the cross-functional business objectives are met, ensuring close alignment with the Global Brand Team and the affiliates in the countries, as well as optimal execution.

Tasks & responsibilities

•    Developing and executing strategic guidance from GMA 
•    Leads the development and execution of the global medical strategic plan
•    Ensures close cross-functional alignment with Commercial, Market Access and R&D, among other relevant stakeholders
•    Leadership role and participates pro-actively in the Global Brand Team 
•    Development and execution of global evidence generation plan
•    Leads the strategy for global clinical studies such as phase IIIb/IV and IIS
•    Leads the global medical engagement strategy
•    Leads the global medical education strategy
•    Ensures alignment with local affiliates
•    Leading and steering local MA function and engaging with stakeholders 
•    Drives local med.affairs and MSL excellence by pro-actively engaging with the affiliates, upskilling the teams and leading by example
•    Development and execution of global evidence dissemination plan
•    Creates and delivers product specific training and information to MSLs


•    Degree in Medicine, Biology, Chemistry or equivalent
•    Knowledge and expertise in the field of Medical Dermatology, and if at all possible, in treatments for NMSC/AK 
•    > 5 year experience in managing global medical strategy for assigned products
•    PhD or similiar
•    Experience in Global Medical function
•    Experience in Global mid/large-size pharma business

Specific knowledge & experience

•    Experience in Global Medical Affairs
•    Experience in launching global / EU products in medical dermatology, having launched at least 1 product in the last 5-6 years
•    Experience in leading cross-functional teams
Specific Knowledge:
•    Professional exposure to medical dermatology
•    If at all possible, specific disease area knowledge (NMSC/AK)
