D&AI Delivery Manager
Mission
The primary mission of a D&A Delivery Manager is to manage in a very autonomous way, key D&A or AI service delivery initiatives, through the temporal allocation of internal teams and / or outsourced services, the collaboration of other services and teamworks from IT, and especially the collaboration of internal business stakeholders.
Ensure implementation of approved Project Pipeline, Applications Maintenance and Contract Management.
D&A Delivery Manager works jointly with different stakeholders as IT Business Partners, IT I/O and architecture teams, and Business people as Product Owners, Sponsors and Process/Data Owners to deliver the most value possible.
This role will report to Data & AI Delivery responsible, inside of Digital, Data & AI Technologies Team in Almirall.
Responsabilities
• Executes and promotes the principles of the agile delivery strategy taking advantage of the organization and resources to manage excellence in service delivery for Business and IT
• Define and execute an effective delivery service organization with proper distribution of resources across the areas (internal and external)
• Stablish Priorities in Application landscape and roadmap to maximize internal knowledge, and business usage.
• Overseas and manages strategic planning, budget management, project management, communication and functional coordination.
• Build strategic partnerships with the most strategic key stakeholders, especially with business teams, IT Business partners, IT Professional Services Providers and IT Software Providers
• Monitors sourcing decisions and vendor management processes.
• Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture. Motivate team members.
• Recognize high performance and reward accomplishments.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business administration or closely related discipline.
Experience
• Understanding of current and planned architecture, platforms and solutions that support the business. Specially desirable knowledge in Azure cloud architectures, PowerBI, Databricks, PowerPlatform & Copilot.
• Broad understanding of the current and emerging technology trends and developments in terms of D&A.
• Strong working knowledge of governance policies and practices.
• Typically has 7 to 10 years of IT and business work experience with a broad range of exposure to various technical environments and business areas.
• Proven experience or demonstrated capability in collaborating IT transformational initiatives in complex, cross-functional, agile and dynamic environments.
• Experience with project management, specially in agile environments.
• Fluent in English.
