Mission

  • We are looking for a Senior HR Administration and Payroll Specialist to act as our new member of the Shared Service Center of Labor Relations & People Admin. The position is based in our HQ in Barcelona.
  • This role involves providing efficient and excellent service support in labour administration and payroll responsibilities to the R&D Area & Industrial.  We are looking for someone proactive that will be involved in constant improvement projects within the Labour Administration area.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Ensure the correct management of around 350 payrolls and labor administration responsibilities for the assigned business area: social insurance, contracts, leaves, IT, settlements, public administration tasks, accounting, tax, flexible remuneration, special regimes, expats / impats etc.
  • Act as an expert in labour legislation, ensuring the correct application for the staff of the assigned area.
  • Support for labour audits and SCIFF processes.
  • Be the main support person and a business partner for the staff of the assigned business area when they have labor relation questions.
  • Detect areas of improvement and being actively involved in related projects.
  • Carry out projects related to the area (i.e. equality plan, time registration, etc.).
  • Participate in different labor commissions.

Education

  • Degree (Master / Bachelor) in Labor Relations, Business, Law, Labor Sciences or similar.
  • Complementary degree in HR is a plus.

Experience

  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in payroll and HR administration.
  • Experience in an industrial / multinational sector is desirable. Experience in Chemical/Pharmaceutical industry is a plus.

  • Expert level knowledge in MS Office, especially Excel. Knowledge of payroll tools – experience in META 4 and People net is an advantage. Knowledge of SAP HCM would be a plus.
