Almirall is constantly evolving and looking toward the future; as part of our continued strategic growth, we are increasing the Omnichannel presence of the company to meet the needs of our audiences (HCPs, Patient, Partners, Affiliates). For Almirall Omnichannel includes the entire customer experience in both print, face to face and digital formats.
Due to this increase we are looking for an Omnichannel specialist that will drive the omnichannel execution within the business the entire customer experience in both print, face to face and digital formats.

Tasks and Responsibilities

•    Support the Global DPO function & supervision of the Privacy Team in the ongoing monitoring of the Almirall Privacy Program conducting, among others, the following tasks:
•    Inform, advise and update on data protection laws, providing legal guidance and opinions in privacy related matters.
•    Carry out privacy assessments, from a privacy by design and by default standpoint, delivering Privacy Impact and/or other assessments, as the case may be, to ensure a compliant approach of Almirall projects. 
•    Coordinate the updates on the record of processing activities in Almirall Group.
•    Draft, review and negotiate data privacy related agreements with third parties in different jurisdictions.
•    Coordinate trainings and launch awareness initiatives and practical guidance in line with privacy applicable laws and internal Policies.
•    Coordinate different jurisdictions in terms of data protection compliance.
•    Management of audits on data protection.
•    Conduct assessments in relation to data incidents and data breach notification procedure.
•    Support the process to honor in due time individuals’ rights exercise.
•    Support interactions with Data Protection Supervisory authorities where appropriate. 
•    Work with interdisciplinary teams in projects, identifying potential privacy risks and recommending successful privacy- compliance strategies. 
•    Support in international projects where Almirall is involved, bringing an expert view on data privacy.
•    Active engagement with the Legal and Compliance functions to ensure maximum alignment with Almirall global standards and practices. 
•    Advising internal clients in contract management process, including drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts, with special focus on digital law.  

Experience & skills

•    Degree in Law.
•    Certification on DPO. Recommended: CIPP/E (Certified Information Privacy Professional Europe).
•    Expert knowledge of data privacy legislation, including EU and US privacy laws.
•    Experience and familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry. 
•    Good understanding of IT-Digital contracting and digital innovative solutions.
•    Ability to make good judgements regarding data privacy risks and to prioritise resources and activity around managing those risks.
•    Strong change and project management ad problem- solving skills as well as the ability to deal effectively with all the levels of the organization. 
•    Global mindset and preparedness to incorporate global standards and practices, with ability to plan, organise and prioritise tasks and projects in different jurisdictions. 
•    Ability to analyze existing processes and bring solutions for improving and simplifying internal processes.
•    Ability to conduct the role independently and with integrity.
•    Ability to establish and maintain a high degree of confidentiality, respect, trust and credibility at all levels.
•    Good personal communication skills capable of dealing with wide range of stakeholders.
•    Strong team player.
•    Enthusiastic and positive.
•    Fluent in English and Spanish.
